I do believe that too faced Cosmetics is on to something with the name of their new holiday palette, delight to the Girls.

So cute, right? The packaging was developed by celebrity decorator Mary McDonald.
Picture it — you, Tabs and I standing on the neighbor’s doorstep in matching chunky knit sweaters with matching caps (because team Tabs is all about accessories), while we sing about our love of cat eyeliner and blending brushes.

(I’m an alto, BTW, so you and Tabs will have to cover the high parts.)

On our eyes, delight to the Girls.

A peek inside the palette…
Three step-by-step eye makeup tutorials for weekday, weekend and party looks…
Recently released for the holidays, it comes equipped for yuletide fun with 15 pans of powder eyeshadow in matte, shimmer and glitter finishes. There’s also a full-sized LashGASM Mascara, and three sets of step-by-step instructions for different looks.

A closer look at the eyeshadows…

Everything about this palette feels like classic too faced Cosmetics to me — girly and very glam. nothing too hard-edged or harsh.

The gal I see going really gaga for delight to the girls always has her hair coiffed, her nails did, and she perfectly coordinates her outfits with glamorous shiny baubles.

Where the A few of My favorite things palette has spunky pops of bright color, delight to the girls plays it safer with a heavy reliance on neutrals, a light dusting of smokey purples and grays, and a drizzle of pastels.

It seems so delicate and feminine to me.

In my paw for scale
From the left: Cookie Dough, cheers and Prancer
From the left: Sugar Plum, Mulberry and Snow Angel
From the left: Powdered Sugar, Too-Too and Yule Log
From the left: Chestnut, Twinkle and Joy
From the left: Spike the Punch, Chimney and Coal
Additional makeup worn in this look: Cheeks, MAC Blushbaby; Lips, too faced spice Spice baby La Creme Lipstick

If your style decisions are inspired by afternoon tea and cucumber sandwiches, this might be best up your alley, but if you lean much more toward the mosh pit, you’ll probably want to pass.

Like I finish with the shadows in A few of My favorite Things, I notice a wee bit of fallout from these high-shine shimmers and glitters (but not really from the mattes). You might want to do your eyes first, clean up whatever lands on your cheeks and below your eyes, and finish up with the rest of your makeup.

I do like the collection of colors and finishes, so I can deal with the fallout in this case — it’s not a deal-breaker for me — and tapping my brushes before applying certainly helps.
